We’ve carried various brands of eyewear since we went into business but once we hit upon Action Optics we never looked back. They have channeled their passion for the outdoors and optics to create a diverse line of superior polarized sunglasses able to satisfy the most rigorous standards. They use the finest materials, designs and polarization technologies in every pair of Action Optics sunglasses. Their polarized sunglasses are a specially designed film laminated between two layers of lens material. The film properties and alignment create a unique filtering process that blocks horizontally reflected light. This eliminates both hard and ambient glare while still allowing the transmission of selected light rays through the lens. All Action Optics glasses filter out both UVA and UVB rays. You end up with superior clarify, definition, color transmissions and reduced eyestrain in all conditions.

Action Optics offers two high-performance optical lens materials. Glass is great for visual acuity and scratch resistance while poly-carbonate is the choice for high velocity pursuits due to impact resistance as well as being very well priced.

There are two types of polarized glass Lens Tints:

Photochromic means that these lenses respond to varying light conditions-they darken in bright light, while they lighten in lower light. Lens colors are as follows:
• Clearwater Copper-exceptional general purpose-provides medium contrast with increased definition. This is our Best Selling Tint.
• Freshwater Amber-a very high contrast lens which enhances depth perception and gathers available light in lower light conditions. Best for medium to low light conditions.
•All Hour Brown-will transmit ample light during lower light conditions. Performs well for users seeking a lighter density all around lens.

Constant Density lenses do not change color. Lens colors are as follows:
• Silver Creek Brown-great all-around lens. Optimum performance is in medium to bright conditions.
• Key Largo Grey-preserves natural hues. Great for open ocean and best In medium to bright conditions.
• Blue Mirror Grey-this lens is the preference of anglers and boater on open oceans
